Yesterday we had a wonderful visit from the Garda Mounted Support Unit. We learned that policing on horseback is ideal for crowd control situations as the Gardai are several feet above the crowd and therefore enjoy a good vantage point. more »

On Friday, January 15th the Roinn 2 boys Co Laois Football champions were presented with their medals by Co Laois stars Ross Munnelly and Mark Timmons. We really appreciated the two footballers sharing their time and advice with us all.

Yesterday our pupils, from infants to 6th contributed soup; peas; gravy; jelly; fruit cocktail; pasta; beans; ketchup; brown sauce; sugar; rice; mayonnaise; jam; coffee; tea; spaghetti and beans to Christmas Hampers for the needy.
