Today some students from second class travelled to KCLR Kilkenny to accept an award for their amazing art entries. They got a tour around KCLR studios and learned lots about how the radio works behind the scenes. They recorded messages as a group and some children spoke on live radio about the competition. Afterwards they got to see the art work on a TV screen and had lots of treats.
The presentation of all art entries will be available to watch on KCLR’s Facebook page.
Well done boys and girls.

3rd class had great fun on their trip to the Kilkenny Activity Centre. We started the day with a hilarious bubble soccer match and an exciting splat-ball game. Then we completed a grueling assault course where we had to work as part of a team to overcome obstacles. To finish it all off, we did the crazy mud-slide where we got very mucky. But it was worth it! A special thank you to those teachers who joined us on our fun day out!
