The pupils of St. Fiacc’s gave a rousing welcome today to the Graiguecullen County Laois Minor Football Champions. The team, most of them former pupils, were lead by manager Tomás Brett and Captain Brian Byrne.
Tomás introduced us to all the squad and encouraged all the boys and girls to play Gaelic. Brian explained how much winning the title meant to them.
Next we entertained the squad by singing our school anthem. Finally the team and mentors visited the Infant classrooms. A great afternoon was had by all!
