On Monday, members of the Carlow Lyons Club visited the school to spread awareness for the prevention of Diabetes Type 2 through healthy eating, exercising and drinking lots of water. Students in 6th classes received goody bags which had lots more »

Ms Hennessy’s 4th class had a great day yesterday for Maths Week as they were playing lots of chance games including die, cards and counters.
We have started Maths Week today with lots of fun activites including a Maths Table Quiz designed by Ms Minnock and Mr Kelly has been busy with IZak-9 block activites.

Following our work on the colour wheel, room 13 then used the primary colours to make secondary colours and created a lovely art of display showing their names.
Some pictures of fourth class working on our fundamental movement skill which is running! We worked on walking, jogging, running and sprinting, played some games and ended our lesson with relay races! We were lucky with the great weather!
