SCHOOL CLOSED MONDAY OCT 16th
St Fiacc’s will remain closed tomorrow due to Status Red Wind Warning extending across the country. We will reopen Tuesday. Kind regards, Mr John Brennan.

Highly Commended Tidy School
We attended Carlow’s Tidy Towns Annual Prize Giving Night on Wednesday. We were delighted to receive Highly Commended in the Carlow School’s category again this year. Congratulations everyone!

Celebrating The Feast of St Francis
This Sunday at 4pm Fr Dunphy will have a special blessing for all our students’ pets outside the Parish Centre to mark the Feast of St Francis. Hope to see you all there (with your pets!)

Second Class are working on Place Value
Second class had lots of fun exploring place value with different materials. Our favourite station was making bundles of ten and different numbers with lollipop sticks.

GAA Cumann na mBunscol Update
The boys team lost narrowly to Portlaoise on Tuesday .We are hoping for a better outcome on Wednesday at 12.30 when we take on Killeshin in the club grounds. We are training again on Monday. Best of luck boys!

Minibeast Hunt

At Assembly today………
We awarded certs to the Students of the Week and Paisti na Seachtaine and we witnessed a Rubrix cube completion in 42 secs!! Also special mention to two brothers who won certs.

Maths in Room 28
