Room 10 had a wonderful morning with our grandparent. We learned a lot about the past. We got to look through some comics from the 1960s and 1970s, we looked at old coins, photos and we even did some dancing! more »
Room 10 made some lovely Saint Brigid’s crosses. It was tricky but we enjoyed learning a new skill!

The children in First Class have enjoyed using iPads to help them learn and recall their number facts and tables. They are enjoying math games such as Eggy Number, Math Splat and Bingo.

Three lucky pupils got to meet Bishop Denis at Carlow Cathedral yesterday!
The pupils were learning all about fairtrade and put great effort into writing wonderful acrostic poems about it. Well done! 📝✏ 9
The pupils created a colourful background using paint and used black and white card to create their penguins and decorated them using poms, feathers and buttons.
Thanks to Cell Explorers, Sixth Class enjoyed learning all about DNA and carried out an experiment extracting DNA from a banana which they brought home with them.
Well done to the full attenders and 95%+ attenders at St. Fiacc’s NS this Term. We all agree that coming to school every day matters!
