First class are learning about capacity this week. We investigated how much water different containers can hold. Did you know it takes 28 egg cups of water to fill a jug?  

Second class teachers are very proud of all the children who made their First Penance recently. Well done to all involved and thank you to Fr. Dunphy and Suzanne for helping the children prepare for this very special occasion.

Second class had a wonderful time at the engineering workshop in the Visual Art Centre. We saw a wonderful exhibition from the artist Denis McNulty. Then we got to plan and create Teepees in groups.

6th class were learning all about Vikings as traders and explorers so we made Viking Longships from clay and decorated them using buttons and feathers.       n

Second class room 10 have been busy learning about spring! They used ipads to research information about Irish garden birds. They completed fantastic projects based on the information they found. They worked in small groups to complete these projects and more »

Second class room 10 have been learning about the famous artist Kandinsky. They created these beautiful Kandinsky inspired paintings using paint and oil pastels. Well done rang 2!

The school choir had a fabulous time in the RDS at Peace Proms 2018. We are so proud of our school choir and how well they performed on the day. They danced and sung their hearts out and we were more »
