6th class enjoyed making Water Lilies out of crepe paper inspired by the artist Claude Monet.
We had great fun making little bugs out of lollipop sticks and coloured card.
6th Class had great fun making monster pinch pots from clay. When we finished them we painted them.
6th class had great fun today at Dunmore East Adventure Centre. There was a mixture of watersports and land activities. Climbing, archery, caving, kayaking, wibit wipeout and even giant stand up paddle boards!! 🌞🏊♂️🚣♀️.
6th class were learning all about Vikings as traders and explorers so we made Viking Longships from clay and decorated them using buttons and feathers. n

The pupils were learning all about fairtrade and put great effort into writing wonderful acrostic poems about it. Well done! 📝✏ 9
The pupils created a colourful background using paint and used black and white card to create their penguins and decorated them using poms, feathers and buttons.
Thanks to Cell Explorers, Sixth Class enjoyed learning all about DNA and carried out an experiment extracting DNA from a banana which they brought home with them.
6th class had lots of fun creating these by using straws and paint. They blew the paint by using the straws to create their crazy hairstyles.
6th class worked in groups/pairs, some worked individually to create some very interesting projects e.g. Shakira, Irish Dancing, Coca-Cola and many more. They enjoyed presenting them to the class and we all learned a lot from each one.
The pupils were very busy drawing skeletons and using oil pastels to add detail. Happy Halloween!!🎃😀
6th class enjoyed working with clay to create their monster pinch pots. Some look very scary indeed!!😀
We decorated the classroom door at the beginning of September. We can look at this every morning for inspiration.
