Fourth class room 13 were learning about weight and measurement. We decided to put what we had learned into practice and make pancakes! They were delicious! We had lots of fun measuing the ingredients and even more fun tasting them!

  Fourth class have been learning about length. We were using metre sticks to draw different lengths on the yard. It was lots of fun!

  Fourth class room 13 had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day. Some children dressed up as their favourite charachter and the they read an extract from their favourite books! It was a fun day!

    On the 4th of March, our school choir set off to Waterford to perform in the Peace Proms concert. The children learned all their songs and dances and worked really hard in order to prepare for this day! more »

4th class have been learning about 2 – D shapes. We have been learning about lines and angles and regular and irregular 2 – D shapes. We have explored 2 – D shapes using lollipop sticks!

During Seachtain na Gaeilge, the children in 4th class room 13 were learning some folk dancing! It was lots of fun!! Maith thú rang 4!

Room 13 have  been learning about the teeth. Our stem challenged was to make a model of the teeth showing the shape of the different types of teeth! The children had a great time and really enjoyed the process and more »

Following our work on the colour wheel, room 13 then used the primary colours to make secondary colours and created a lovely art of display showing their names.

Some pictures of fourth class working on our fundamental movement skill which is running! We worked on walking, jogging, running and sprinting, played some games and ended our lesson with relay races! We were lucky with the great weather!

Room 13 had great fun using ipads to research some information on their local area.

We have been learning about the life cycle of a spider! Some pupils enjoyed learning about spiders more than others! Getting into the Halloween spirit!!!!

Things are getting spooky in Rang 4! Watch out for some spooky creatures heading home on Friday!!!

4th class have been enjoying  listening and responding to ‘Carnival of the Animals’ by Camille Saint – Saens. We created some mosaic pictures that were inspired by the music!

4th Class used the process of Chromatography to separate colours in markers. We used filter paper to separate colours in different markers. We then used the filter paper to create some cool Halloween pictures! We hope you like our pictures!

Fourth class had great fun identifying trees on our school grounds! We enjoyed drawing leaves and doing leaf and bark rubbings.
